Dr. Asmae Boutaleb
MD, Co-chair and Co-founder

MD graduated from Montreal University Faculty of Medicine in 1983, Dr. Boutaleb has practiced as family physician since then. She has conducted studies for breast cancer screening tests. She has a particular interest in women’s health, nutrition and food guides, phlebology, medical intervention health, as well as cosmetic medicine.

Because of her sense of volunteering, altruism and selfless giving, she developed a particular interest in improving health conditions for people in need in Morocco’s remote rural areas.

Dr. Meriem Glia
Co-chair and Co-founder

Graduated from the ex-USSR in 1991, Dr. Glia graduated in occupational medicine in France in 1994. In 2014, she obtained her masters degree in Management and Organizational Development. Starting as clinician at the University of Montreal Hospital Center (CHUM), Dr. Glia has been Manager and Coordinator at the Housing and Long-Term Care (CHSLD) in the north of Montreal.

 

Mr. Sami Boutaleb
Executive Director and Treasurer

Mr. Boutaleb is CEO & founder of Montreal Heritage Capital. He holds a BBA from HEC Montreal and an eMBA from Harvard Business School. With over 15 years of experience in business development, Mr. Boutaleb held senior positions in the pharmaceutical industry before pursuing his career in financing solutions. He played a key role as shareholder of private companies specialized in asset-based lending, invoice financing and factoring.  Mr. Boutaleb is currently Director of the International Factoring Association-Quebec Chapter. He is also Chairman of the Montreal Connexions Group, Executive Director of the Quebec Young Trading Boards of Commerce Association and Ambassador for the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

Mr. Khalid Talbi
Director

Mr. Talbi graduated as an engineer in merchant navy. He is currently Head of Management of 12 Housing and Long-Term Care Centers (CHSLD) at the Integrated Center for Health and Social Services (CIUSSS) in the north of Montreal.
